OCC‘s Raider One Card Office with U.S. Bank are presenting a financial literacy workshop 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. April 7, 2015 at the Auburn Hills Campus in Building G Room 228, 2900 Featherstone Road.
Sessions will feature the following information:
Loan Lessons, 11 a.m. to noon: Students will learn about loan programs that include an introduction to common types of loans, how to apply for a loan and the role credit plays in qualifying for a loan, as well as student loan basics and defining interest.
Conquering Credit, noon to 1 p.m.: Students will learn what a FICO score is, how to establish a solid credit history, what to do when good credit turns bad and how to avoid identity theft.
